The Parlotones opening World Cup

The world cup will soon be kicking and there’s nothing more better than to start it off with a kick – off concert. This Friday, The FIFA World Cup Kick – off Concert will be blasting off in South Africa featuring the performances international artists such as the Black Eyed Peas, Alicia Keys and Shakira in South Africa. But the thing that South Africa anticipates the most is none other than the biggest rock band in their continent, The Parlotones.

The Parlotones formed in 1998 and has released 7 full – length albums and 3 EP’s since. The Parlotones are composed of Glenn Hodgson on bass guitar, piano and backing vocals, Paul Hodgson on lead guitar and keyboard, Kahn Morbee on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, and Neil Pauw on drums. This guys share the vision they had in music since the moment they first met in 1998 and since then, they have been striving to be South Africa’s premiere rock band.

Also watch out for the Black Eyed Peas, the epic hip-hop/nu sound group from the United States, responsible for the hits, I Got A Feeling and Boom Boom Pow , Soul / R & B / blues singer and pianist, Alicia Keys, Shakira and John Legend.
